Government Subsidized Phone Service
Lifeline support lowers the cost of basic, monthly phone service. A qualified customer may obtain the lifeline reduction (varies by state) for their phone service. The discount is available to those on qualifying government assistance but only one discount per household is allowed.
Link Up support lowers the one-time fee related with initiating phone service. Qualified customers also meet the criteria for a postponed payment schedule for any remaining costs of up to $200. A consumer may only receive the Link Up discount once at the same address.
